Colas Gabon a mis œuvre une Industrie performante, fondé sur l'expertise historique d'un grand groupe du BTP où la compétence locale est au centre de sa culture d'Entreprise.

Implantée à 80 km de Libreville aux pieds du Parc des Mont du Cristal, la carrière de Kinguélé est la genèse d'un processus de transformation complexe permettant l'élaboration du cailloux, matériau indissociable de toute construction moderne !

Ce produit est élaboré en plusieurs étapes très techniques et dont Colas possède la maîtrise de bout en bout. A partir du massif rocheux, la matière première appelée granite est extraite par le procédé dit de l'abattage. Celui-ci s'opère au moyen de trous de mines dans lesquels sont initiées des charges d'explosif. Le matériau ainsi extrait est ensuite acheminé par camions vers une unité de concassage moderne et entièrement automatisée. Ici commence un nouveau processus qui transformera le granite en cailloux de plusieurs dimensions et commercialisable selon les besoins des clients.

On March 10, 2022, 5 godmothers wish to welcome 30 school girls to make them discover our Industries, including our quarry of KINGUELE.

Located 80 km from Libreville, down the Parc des Mont du Cristal, the Kinguélé quarry is the genesis of a complex transformation process allowing the development of pebbles, a material inseparable from any modern construction !

This product is developed in several highly technical stages and which Colas has end-to-end control. From the rock mass, the raw material called granite is extracted by the so-called felling process.

This is carried out by means of mine holes into which explosive charges are initiated. The extracted material is then trucked to a modern, fully automated crushing unit.

Here begins a new process that will transform granite into pebbles of several dimensions and marketable according to the needs of our customers.
